Cyrus Cylinder

$200.00

The nearly 2,500-year-old edict known as the Cyrus Cylinder has been called the first human rights proclamation by some scholars.  The original artifact is housed in the British Museum. This is a gold-plated, limited-edition miniature replica created by Nasser Ovissi. On the back is an excerpt of text from the Cyrus Cylinder printed in English. Included is a small booklet written in both Farsi and English stating the history of the cylinder.

This makes a great gift and award. It has been presented to United Nations Chief,  Dalai Lama,  Presidents of the United States and other major contributors to society.
